Salt and water have been at the heart of Gitxaała identity since time immemorial — Git Lax
M’oon, the People of the Saltwater. The Saltwater Spa at the Crest Hotel is built from that
foundation.
Situated on a cliff-side deck directly above BC’s North Coast, Prince Rupert’s first full-service
hotel spa will draw on the elements of the surrounding coast — ocean, rain, cedar, and fire — to create a wellness experience that is entirely of this place.

Hot Tub
Our outdoor hot tub sits on a cliff-side deck directly above the harbour — a restorative end to any day on BC’s North Coast. Children under 16 must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
Steam Room
Blue tiled walls, warm steam, and a window into the surrounding landscape. The Crest’s steam room is an intentional pause – a restorative space that reflects the unhurried spirit of BC’s North Coast.
Gym
Train above the harbour. The Crest’s fitness centre puts BC’s North Coast in front of you from the first rep to the last.
Free weights, treadmills, stair climbers, strength equipment, stationary and recumbent bikes, and a rowing ergometer.
Gift Shop
The Crest Gift Shop carries the work of local artisans and First Nations artists — argillite carvings, jewellery, and hand-carved wooden masks that reflect the cultural character of BC’s North Coast. Each piece is a meaningful keepsake from Prince Rupert.
