Louis Riel Dance
November 23
Kick up your heels at the Louis Riel Dance, sponsored by the Prince Rupert & District Metis Society. With music by Gale Force II, the evening is sure to be a rollicking good time. Doors open at 7:30 pm, and a cash bar is available.
RSSC Christmas Craft Fair
Nov 30 – Dec 1
Get a jump on your holiday shopping with the first annual RSSC Christmas Craft Fair, one of the newest and most exciting winter events in Prince Rupert. At the Rupert Square Mall, you’ll find homemade goodies and creative crafts for sale from a variety of vendors. It’s a great place to find a unique gift for that special someone.
Winterfest
December 6 – 7
Light up Prince Rupert at this year’s Winterfest. The two day festival starts with lighting up the trees at the Court House on Friday evening, with free snacks and hot chocolate. Browse local goods at the Craft & Home Business Fair on Saturday–but remember to make time for the Santa Claus Parade! This year, Winterfest is offering a new event: the first ever Winter Cosplay Contest! Show off your sewing skills, or come to watch the amazing costumes on display.
Roger’s Hometown Hockey
December 7
The popular hockey tour comes to Prince Rupert! Hear hockey stories, meet NHL alum, and enjoy free activities for the whole family. Tara Stone and Ron MacLean will be live on site to host the festival and discuss how Prince Rupert continues to contribute to our national sport. Hometown Hockey finally visits our hometown! How could winter events in Prince Rupert get any better?
